Jason’s Review Gene’s Review

Today there are a plethora of Chicken substitutes and Boca has expanded their selection from not only beef substitutes but now chicken as well. I found the product to be pleasant to the taste buds and a texture consistent to the “real” thing. I did notice that it seemed a little on the salty side which cautioned me to look at the nutritional facts where i noticed 23% daily recommended value of sodium in a single serving. Combine this with a med protein value (11) this may not be as suitable for vegetarians as it would be for Carnivores looking for a meat replacement for health reasons. Consider the “Original Chik’n Patties made from natural ingredients” from Boca as you will find it has considerably less sodium (18%) and the same amount of Protein.
